Entry Requirements
Passport Validity:
Passports must be valid for the duration of your stay. Ensure you have at least one blank page for entry and exit stamps.
Visa Requirements:
Tourists from most countries, including the US, Canada, UK, and EU nations, do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days. For longer stays or other types of travel, such as business or study, you may need a visa and should check with the Jamaican Passport, Immigration, and Citizenship Agency.
Health Requirements:
There are no COVID-19 testing or vaccination requirements.
A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from a country with a risk of Yellow Fever.
Customs Regulations:
You can bring local currency (Jamaican dollars) into the country, but you must declare amounts over USD 10,000.
Certain food items, particularly meat and dairy products, are prohibited and may be confiscated by customs officials.
Arrival Process:
Upon arrival, you must complete the Jamaica C5 Immigration Form, preferably online before travel. This form collects your personal, travel, and health information.
Departure Tax
Included in Ticket:
Departure taxes are generally included in the cost of your airfare. However, it’s advisable to check with your airline to confirm this. The departure tax for air passengers is USD 35.

Upon arrival, tourists are issued a tourist card valid for six months, which costs USD 27.00 This card must be returned when departing the island.
